If you are a currently certified teacher with at least three years of classroom experience, Southern New Hampshire University's Master of Education in Educational Leadership program can help you become a leader inside and outside of class. The MEd in Educational Leadership degree online is ideal for licensed teachers seeking an additional endorsement. This program does not lead to initial licensure.
Designed for working educators, this master's in Educational Leadership can be completed in as little as 18 months, with two courses per term.
Earn your MEd in Educational Leadership degree online or at our Manchester, N.H., campus and be eligible for New Hampshire Principal Certification or New Hampshire certification as a curriculum administrator or assistant principal.
Candidates seeking a comparable teaching or administrative license in a state other than New Hampshire must meet the out-of-state certification/licensure requirements for your state to be licensed. Please note that we currently accept applications only from residents of the following states for this program's online endorsement pathway: New Hampshire, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Maine, Vermont and Virginia. Admission Requirements
A minimum of three years of teaching experience is required for this principal certification program. A copy of current teacher certification must be submitted to an SNHU admission counselor, and teacher certification must be included on a prospective student's resume.
