"SNHU has granted me the opportunity to pursue my dream degree and work in the field that I love."

While I was in the Air Force, I worked as a sexual assault victim advocate. I realized quickly that working as an advocate was my calling. When I got out of the military, I decided I wanted to achieve a degree in psychology in order to aid victims to the best of my abilities. SNHU has granted me the opportunity to pursue my dream degree and work in the field that I love. I live in a very remote part of Montana and would not be able to go to school if it weren't all online.

My husband is truly the driving force behind my academic achievements. He chose to follow his dreams and become a rancher, which is a very hard lifestyle, but he would not be happy doing anything else. He saw that for me to be happy with my career, I needed to be in advocacy. It isn't easy for us to have me going to school full-time, but we make it work, and he pushes me to do my best because he knows it is what I love.
