"If I receive a "low" score..., the professor(s) reach out to you to find out what happened or what is going on."
I've been to a previous university that is strictly online, and only once did I receive a grade lower than a 90%. It was on a paper (not a final paper) that I scored less than satisfactory. Although, I won't say here what I received on that paper, I still passed the class with a 95%. That should not happen when a person receives such a low grade — even with perfect scores on everything else.
Here at SNHU, the professors grade you on what you do, and do not inflate your grades. If I receive a "low" score meaning anything lower than an 80%, the professor(s) reach out to you to find out what happened or what is going on. I am much happier getting a B or C in a class knowing that I earned it, instead of an A in what appeared to be a potential diploma mill. Plus, SNHU is unlike a lot of typical online schools since they have more than one campus and are regionally accredited.
