BA Psychology, Class of 2014

"I have achieved more than I thought was possible with SNHU."

I got a job working in television after I graduated with an associate degree from a local community college. Working at the television station for seven years, I felt as though there was so much more that I had to offer. I needed an academic challenge, and I decided to return to school to obtain a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I looked and researched colleges that offered online programs. Being a mother and working full-time, it was not a possibility for me to physically attend college classes. Going back to college online would give me the flexibility that I needed in order to further my education and put myself in a position to have better possibilities of employment opportunities. I am a wife, a mother to two amazing children, and I am a soon to be graduate of SNHU. Today I am that much closer to reaching the goal that I set for myself. I have achieved more than I thought was possible with SNHU. Being a mother and working full-time, it isn’t always easy. SNHU made it possible for me to further my education through online courses. Time is valuable and every second I get I am able to log in and do the work I need to because the classes are all online. SNHU made it possible for me to invest in myself by furthering my education. I work nights and weekends in order to be able to provide for my family and getting a better education will afford me with more opportunities.
