"SNHU has afforded me a great way to work two jobs and work on getting my degree."
I am a 50-year-old mother of two grown daughters. I put my schooling on hold to raise my children, and now that they are grown up, it is my turn. I have worked as a certified veterinary technician for the past 20+ years, but have gone as far as I can go at my job. I decided to go back to school to get my bachelor's in psychology to pursue a career in grief and bereavement counseling. I have a lot of informal experience with counseling people with pet loss. SNHU has afforded me a great way to work two jobs and work on getting my degree. It is slow going because I only take one class at a time, so I can maintain good grades. So far, it has been a lot of work, but an overall great experience.
