"It was the best decision I've made."
I graduated high school over 20 years ago. At that time, everyone was emphasizing business as the only degree to pursue in college. I do not have a good head for numbers, and really struggled. When I could, I would take classes in literature or writing, and found that English was the degree for me. However, I was told by a number of people that it was a worthless degree, and not to waste my time.
When my daughter was born, I decided that it was my degree, and if I was going to do the work, then I was going to do it my way. After a number of starts and stops, I'd just about given up. Then I remembered my daughter, and the importance of setting a positive example. A few days later, I saw a commercial for SNHU, and decided to check it out. That was over a year ago, and it was the best decision I've made. As my daughter preps for high school, she sees me doing my schoolwork, and knows that she too can pursue her dreams, no matter how long it takes.
