"I am now a firm believer that if you believe you can achieve what you put your mind to."

Struggle is the best word to define my life to date. Born into a broken home and always being around the influence of people under the influence, it has always been a struggle for me to maintain a straight and narrow course. I have never been the apt pupil, always finding the classroom boring. I decided after high school to join the Army rather than continue my education. This was short-lived as I was released due to a medical condition. Depressed and feeling like a failure, I went through a dark period of life. I worked menial jobs and maintained a menial existence.

When I turned 25, I met my wife. It was the most extreme turning point in my life. She taught me to have the confidence in myself to go after my dreams. Soon after, I enrolled at SNHU. I am halfway through my bachelor’s degree in psychology. I work a 60-hour week in order to make the ends meet, but I could not be happier. I am now a firm believer that if you believe you can achieve what you put your mind to--success is your only option.
