"I wouldn’t exchange this opportunity I have been given to educate myself for anything in the world."
I became a mother in my very early twenties. I had attempted to go back to school, only to discover taking classes, working and being a mom was very overwhelming. Something had to give and unfortunately, school always took the cut. After years of struggling, I hit my thirties and decided I knew what I needed to do with my life! I have a purpose and a calling to be a voice to those without a voice. I jumped in head first, not sure exactly where I was headed, but, knowing education was the place to start. I became a student at SNHU. I have grown leaps and bounds. I wouldn’t exchange this opportunity I have been given to educate myself for anything in the world. Initially, I went back to school to discover how to be a voice for others. Incredibly, through the rich exchange of knowledge, I discovered my own voice! My own voice actually led me down the path to become a published columnist! The best part for me is I never had to “cut” my education out! I could easily work around a job and the children. I am so grateful, if it were not for the awesome team at SNHU, I would never have had this life enriching opportunity. Cheers to making all of my dreams come true!
