"I was extremely fortunate to find a school that offered great programs, and also worked with my busy schedule and family life."
I am 35, married, with three young daughters. I decided that I wanted to set a good example for my girls. I returned to school in 2010, after going through some extremely difficult times in my life and deciding I needed to do something for my family and especially myself. I had originally attended college right after high school, and obtained an associate degree in computer information management. But I knew this was not my future. I have always leaned toward areas such as sociology and psychology.
When I came across the program at SNHU, it felt right. I have always been drawn to people and what makes us who we are, so psychology seemed like the best course of action for me. I was extremely fortunate to find a school that offered great programs, and also worked with my busy schedule and family life. It is not an easy task to balance school, family and responsibilities, but I have been fortunate enough to have great people supporting me along the way. I will be graduating by the end of the year, and plan on pursuing my master’s in psychology with SNHU.
