"I have never attended online classes before, but I’m finding them to be wonderfully interactive."
I am just a beginner in my journey at SNHU. I had been contemplating going back to school to get a bachelor’s degree for a few years. I already have an AA in Early Childhood Education and a certificate in medical assisting. I am currently working as a clinical assistant at a Cancer Care Center in Boston.
Turning fifty was the catalyst that propelled me into calling SNHU. I realized if I did not begin, a year would pass and I would be in the same spot as I was currently, but just a year older. So, I picked up the phone and spoke with a wonderful woman named Ann Bross. She guided me through the admissions process and pointed me down all of the correct paths.
I chose a health promotions program because it combined my love of teaching with my medical experience and will hopefully get me into one of the wonderful programs available where I already work that help young women.
I have never attended online classes before, but I’m finding them to be wonderfully interactive. Through the discussion boards, I am able to exchange ideas with my classmates and professors, and, even in these first few weeks of class, I have learned a lot about the subject material and my determination to succeed.
I would recommend SNHU to all those out there who feel the time is right to make a new start. Take the challenge and reap the rewards. You will not be sorry.
