"I had wonderful professors who took their time with me to guide me through my difficulties."
Three years ago a good friend of mine insisted that I start taking classes with her online at SNHU. I was nervous at first. Online classes meant I had to be disciplined in my studies. I needed to buckle down, set out a schedule, and never give up. I remember feeling like I would never be able to graduate with high honors. I didn’t have a really good GPA in high school or a good GPA for my associate degree, so I knew I had to step it up. But I didn’t do it alone. I had wonderful professors who took their time with me to guide me through my difficulties, and a great friend who refused to let me give up. I also had the support of my family and most definitely, my husband. Most of all, I had faith that this was what God wanted me to do.
Here I am, getting my BA in Creative Writing/English, graduating with honors and looking forward to my future in writing. I never thought it would be possible. Thanks to the staff at SNHU and my amazing advisor, who did everything she could to keep me going, I did it. Now all I have left to do is write.
