"Making it that far was something I never thought I would do."

I dropped out of high school in the 10th grade. It wasn't until I was in my later twenties that I decided to get my GED. I then signed up for a class at a community college and didn't make it through it. I thought I wasn't smart enough for college. I tried it again a couple of years later and graduated with my associates degree in business with honors. Making it that far was something I never thought I would do. Now, I'm nearing the end of my bachelor's degree program at Southern New Hampshire! For someone that thought they couldn't get past a high school education, this only validates that with determination and little hard work, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. I am living proof of that.
