"Going back to school at a graduate level after 18 years away was a daunting decision, but I have never regretted it."

I am a mother, wife, pet wrangler and IT professional. I graduated from a Wisconsin university with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and promptly went into IT. After 20+ years as a network engineer and now a network operations manager, I realized this is not my dream. With the support of great friends, I decided it is time to change my stars, and that is exactly what SNHU is helping me do. It is never too late get the degree you really want and put it to work for you.

Distance education has come a long way in the past fifteen years and educational providers like SNHU can open doors for you if you take the first step. Going back to school at a graduate level after 18 years away was a daunting decision, but I have never regretted it. It's good to be back!

My advice to new SNHU students is to put yourself out there, believe in your message, and never be afraid to take an idea to the next level. You can learn a lot from your instructors and your peers, so keep your mind open to possibilities and keep that forward momentum. You will not regret the extra work in your day when you get the diploma in your hand.
