"I look forward to what my future holds and what this experience will bring me."
I am 33 years old, living in Quincy, Massachusetts, but born and raised in Waltham, Massachusetts. I have struggled off and on over the years and tried online school years back. I was making very little money and struggled in one my classes. I was a criminal justice major at the time going for my associate degree. I ended up failing a math class and, since I was unable to pay for it, had to stop going to school. A few years later, I lost my job and was unemployed for about a year and a half. This was during the recession a few years back, so finding a job was hard. Once I did find a job, I decided I needed to go back to school. I went through a rehabilitation program to get my loans out of default, and then applied to get back into school. I love children, so getting my B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in adolescent development only made sense to me. It has been a long road, and if were not for my friends and families support, I would not be here today. I look forward to what my future holds and what this experience will bring me.
