"The advisors push you to be successful, and they actually care about you on a personal level."

Making my way through high school, I had my mind set on studying business at a small local school in South Carolina. Not liking the university lifestyle, I left the school only one year later to try school online. Looking on Facebook one day, I saw one of my friends from the university had switched to go to SNHU Online. Scared, but full of wonder, I called SNHU to see what it was all about. Finding out they had a four-year creative writing major, I became really excited and ready to explore more about it.

Excitedly, I investigated the program, and decided to enroll. The advisors push you to be successful, and they actually care about you on a personal level. You’re not just some number; you’re a person trying to reach a goal. Knowing that my professors know me by name also made me 100 percent sure that this is the place that I want to be.

I made all As and Bs through the two terms I have completed here. Knowing that I can make the grades and actually have a chance at success makes me wish I could have started at this school to begin with. I want to complete my four years here and become a fiction author for teenagers. Maybe I’ll have the chance of making a novel into a movie. Never let any dream just vanish — with a lot of heart and determination, anything can become a reality.”
