"My advisor has always been there for me, making sure I'm doing well, and the professors are so understanding."
I'm a 21-year-old justice studies student with a concentration in law and legal process. I was originally looking at SNHU to go as a day student on campus, but I decided to pack up everything I knew and move to Tacoma, Washington to be with my husband. My husband is on active duty in the U.S. Army and stationed at Ft. Lewis. It was a struggle for me to move away from my family, friends and the campus, and I was really nervous to do online schooling. I had never taken an online class before. But here I was diving headfirst into getting my bachelor's degree online.
Everyone at the school from the professors to my advisor, as well as the other students, has been amazing. The professors really go out of their way to take care of the student’s needs. They show you that they care about what's going on in your life outside the classroom. My advisor has always been there for me, making sure I'm doing well, and the professors are so understanding. Taking care of my nine-month-old puppy and being an Army wife are both full-time jobs, but online schooling allows to me to do it all. I'm still bettering myself while supporting my husband. SNHU eliminated all my fears about online education. I love it!
