"I could not be more excited to have achieved this level of education."
My story is one without flair. I began as a young bride with an associate degree in criminal justice. At the time, I worked for the N.H. Court System. An opportunity came about with an opening at the County House of Corrections, and I took a chance. I began as an officer and quickly realized that I could not only make a difference in the lives of the inmate population, but could also make the facility a better place to work. I began to work toward my bachelor's degree, while working and raising my son with my husband. As our family expanded and my career continued to progress with a promotion to the rank of captain, I knew that it was time to get my graduate degree. With the support of my husband, our son, and our twins, my husband and I will graduate together in 2016! I could not be more excited to have achieved this level of education, but also to have done it side by side with my husband!
