"I could not be happier with my decision to transfer. SNHU has become a home to me."

My story started out when I was deciding where to go to for college straight out of high school. For any person, this is a difficult decision. At first, I decided to go to a local university. I was set and ready to go there with my best friend as my roommate, but as the time got closer, I was nervous about the college atmosphere. I ended up staying home and going to an alternate university for the first year. I was working part-time and going to school full-time. There was never really a student-teacher connection, and that is one of the main things that helps me in school. I realized about half way through the year that the school was not for me. I looked into transferring to SNHU and the process was super easy. I was looking to start working full-time, but I also wanted to stay in school. The continuing education program was perfect for me. Now I work full-time and go to school a couple nights a week. At SNHU, the teachers truly care about the students’ successes, and that means a lot. They are willing to provide extra help in any way. I could not be happier with my decision to transfer. SNHU has become a home to me.
