"SNHU has given me the opportunity to work towards... my goal of someday working as a guidance counselor in the school system."
I have always been a smart individual, but struggled to take education seriously in high school. My bad habits continued into the start of college as well. After doing poorly in my first year at college, I had limited options. It was wake-up call.
I always knew that I wanted to work in the psychology field. I decided to take charge of my future and started taking classes at a local community college. I stayed focused and eventually was able to transfer into a state university, from which I graduated with a BA in Psychology.
After taking a couple years off, I was inspired to continue my education. SNHU has given me the opportunity to work towards obtaining my master’s in psychology, and my goal of someday working as a guidance counselor in the school system.
