"I now hold a job where I’m able to put my education to use, and am being groomed for management."
After obtaining my undergraduate degree in mathematics, I found that no jobs were available in the economy to someone who did not have experience in the field. As I continued trying to find a job that would allow me to gain experience, my brother, a general manager of a small, family-owned company at the time, allowed me to work with him. I started learning more of the ins and outs of business, and realized how much passion I had for it. Thanks to the help of my brother, and the support from my parents, I made the decision to go back to school and prepare for an MBA. I later added quantitative analysis, as my goal is to be a statistician in any sense of the word.
I have continued to put all my efforts into each class I take and currently hold a 4.0 GPA, with two expected years to go. I now also hold a new job where I’m able to put my education to use, and am being groomed for management. I call that a success for sure! I want to thank all my professors, and my advisor, for all the effort they put into helping me learn and succeed, during each and every class I take. I love every class, can apply it to real life, and that makes me realize how signing up for graduate school was the best decision I have made.
