"SNHU has helped me every step of the way in teaching me the skills necessary to grow as a writer and student."
I have learned over the years that it is important to do what you love, and for me that means switching from the psychology field to the English field. I not only did it to be happy, but I wanted to prove to myself that I could accomplish anything that I put my mind to. In 2010, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and the struggles are tough, but I decided to promote awareness through words — a book that can hopefully touch the hearts of others. With this decision I knew I needed to go back to school for writing. My parents have provided me the best support anyone could ever ask for. I could never thank them enough, but they believed in me and now I am learning to believe in myself too.
SNHU has helped me every step of the way in teaching me the skills necessary to grow as a writer and student and, in essence, a better person. I highly value my parents, and the staff and faculty at SNHU. Without them, I could never be where I am today. I am grateful to have a computer, time, a fabulous support network and SNHU to make my dreams become a reality.
