"I didn't want my children to ask why I didn't get a degree."
I never thought I would be where I am today. I have a beautiful wife, a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son, who look up to me and demand the most from me. Before my time at SNHU, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life.
I figured school was not for me and that I would just work until I died. Then, my wife went back to school and got into a nursing program. She is doing fantastic. I started to think about my children. I didn't want my children to ask why I didn't get a degree, or why they had to get one when I had not.
I decided to enroll at SNHU in the BS in Justice Studies program. It has been a fun adventure. I am juggling being a parent, a husband, a friend and, of course, a hard worker. I have a lot to work for. Since I am the only one working, it gets tough at times. Once I have my degree, I know I will not have to struggle any more.
