"The wonderful instructors at SNHU continue to help me strengthen my grammar and creative writing skills."
I am a 53-year-young mother of four adult children and three beautiful granddaughters. After attending my son's college graduation two years ago, and witnessing how many people in my age-bracket were graduating — I thought, why not? I always had deep regrets that I never finished my education.
I have always had a passion and talent for writing, and that is what led me to SNHU. It is one of the most fulfilling and sensible decisions that I have ever made. I work full-time as a director of events marketing, and I have custody of one of my nine-year-old granddaughters, but I've still managed to maintain a 4.0 grade average! Since I started at SNHU, I have been published twice — once in The Manatee and once in The Penmen Review. I’ve also completed a series of children’s books, which I am in the process of submitting for publication.
The wonderful instructors at SNHU continue to help me strengthen my grammar and creative writing skills. This decision has not only turned my life around, but it has also made my "bucket List" a lot shorter! I plan to fly to New Hampshire and walk with my 2016 graduating class. Aside from the birth of my children and grandchildren — that will be one of the proudest moments of my entire life.
