BS Fashion Merchandising Management

"I know that if I keep up my hard work, I can and will reach my goals one day."

I always remember as a little girl being very interested in all things fashion and beauty. I spent a lot of time braiding and combing my dolls hair, dressing up and making clothing choices with my mother at department stores. Initially, when entering high school, I decided I wanted to be a lawyer. I went through four years of high school and realized law wasn't where my heart truly was. I am a firm believer that when you follow your dreams and you do what you love, it is much more than just a job. Upon graduating high school, I attended college pursuing my associate degree in fashion merchandising marketing & management, which I obtained in 2010. By that time, I knew what my goals in life were and one included owning my own fashion brand as well as becoming a guru within the beauty industry. After graduating college, I attended beauty school and obtained my license in cosmetology. Going through the journey of pursuing these careers has been the best years of my life. They are just stepping stones toward my goals. Now, here I am attending Southern New Hampshire University, majoring in fashion merchandising. Success is very important to me, and I know that if I keep up my hard work that I can and will reach my goals one day. I am very appreciative to have this opportunity to share my story, and I hope to inspire anyone who is looking for answers in where to go in starting a great career.
