"I am now in my third semester, and I have enjoyed my experience thus far."
I tried the college track when I was seventeen, right out of high school, but dropped out when I found a well-paying job. Seven years later, I found myself in a job with no advancement opportunities that I did not enjoy at all. With no degree, my options for a career change were limited.
Having my daughter was the push I needed to get back to school and earn my accounting degree. I got my associate degree in accounting, and then transferred to SNHU because I wanted to enroll in the accelerated BS to MS in Accounting program.
I am now in my third semester, and I have enjoyed my experience thus far. It is my goal to earn an MS in Accounting and to use that degree to find a career that is rewarding and will help me provide a stable lifestyle for my daughter. I hope that my success can serve as motivation for her to go to college herself someday and to follow her dreams.
