"Thank you, SNHU for making a difference in my life and helping me to be successful!"
I was laid off my job of 13 years, back in January of 2008. I was working again that November for the next few months, only to be laid off again in March of 2009. It was then, with my husband, I decided to go back to school and get my college degree. I had always been told that I was in the wrong field, being an administrative assistant that there's something about me, and that I needed to be a counselor helping people. That's when I decided that psychology would be the way to go.
At first, I was very nervous that I would not do well, and, honestly at my age, I wondered what the heck am I doing? But I put my mind to it and have been working hard over the last four years, and here I am! I am about to be a college graduate with a B.A. in Psychology! Come July, I will petition to graduate! I have also been invited to join the Psi Chi Honor Society! My goal now is to get into the field of counseling where I know I can make a difference in someone's life. Thank you, SNHU for making a difference in my life and helping me to be successful!
