BA Creative Writing & English - Fiction, Class of 2015

"I am very proud to be attending SNHU, and I believe it is the best online school around."

I have come to SNHU from a previous online university. While at SNHU, I have overcome several obstacles, including: the death of my significant other and soul mate from cancer, a lot of family problems, as well as some personal obstacles and health issues. I have had to retake classes that I struggled with such as biology; while others I have had to retake because my personal life and health problems got in the way of my school life, like world religion. I am proud to say that after several attempts, I have passed my biology course. While at SNHU, I have learned that I am dyslexic, but I am overcoming the hurdles with the help that is provided. I am working diligently to obtain my degree in November 2015.

I am in the process of editing my second book, “For Jamie's Sake,” and will have it in print by Christmas 2014. Although I have had difficulties while I have been in school, I have not given up. I will continue to grow as a student and person, and I will persevere and graduate in November 2015. After that, I will continue in school to get my MFA in creative writing with a fiction emphasis.

I am very proud to be attending SNHU, and I believe it is the best online school around. I have to say, though, that I would not be as far as I am without the help, advice and guidance of the academic advising team, especially Nathan Wyckoff.
