"One of the best decisions I’ve made in my educational career advancement is making the call to SNHU."
My name is Theresa Libios. I live in Texas with my husband, 19-year-old son, 16-year-old daughter, and 10-year-old dog Sugar. I was a stay-at-home mom for a long time. I worked in the school system that my children attended until they reached middle school and high school. Once my son entered high school, I realized that I needed to have a plan for when my youngest graduates in 2015. My life has revolved around my family, and I felt I needed to have accomplishments of my own as they graduated, moved on, and I entered middle age. I am 45, and I returned to community college part-time a few years ago. I started attending SNHU in the fall of 2012, which I love. I plan to obtain my degree in psychology with a concentration in mental health. My long-term goal is to obtain my master’s in psychology and open my own practice. One of the best decisions I’ve made in my educational career advancement is making the call to SNHU. They made the transition so easy, and my advisor, Missy, answers my questions, returns e-mails in a timely manner and keeps me on track with my courses. I could not be where I am in my educational endeavors without the support of my husband, Marcus; my children, Jordan and Jadelyn; and my advisor Melissa Page. I look forward to the future and all it has to offer!
