MBA Healthcare Management

"My academic advisor has been there every step of the way, encouraging me when I thought I couldn't do it and answering all of my questions."

I always knew I wanted to go back to school and get my master’s; however, it was never the right time. I am a single mother of two little girls, and I found myself making excuses for why school had to wait. Then, one day everything changed for me.

I was at a pivotal point in my career where I looked around and I asked myself "Where do I see myself in five years? Am I still challenging myself everyday to be my best?" My answers did not line up with my goals. I told myself that I could complain about it for the next 15 years, or I could go back to school and get my MBA and change my journey.

That has been the best decision of my life. At first I was scared, and then I thought, "Where there is a will, there is way." I am so excited that I did it. My academic advisor has been there every step of the way, encouraging me when I thought I couldn't do it and answering all of my questions.

The professors have been amazing. They are all very knowledgeable, and they never make you feel that you are taking online courses. They are always there to answer all of your questions. I am so excited about the next step in my life. It is never to late to go back to school.

My nine-year-old daughter holds me accountable for my grades just like I hold her accountable for her grades. I am teaching her that it is never too late to follow your dreams and you can have it all. I would recommend SNHU to anyone that wants to go back to school. They have made this process so easy for me. Thank you!
