"Pursuing a college education has already opened up doors for me that I never would have found without it."
During and after secondary school, college was not something I imagined I would attempt. With very little money and an already blooming résumé, it almost seemed as if it would never be in my future. After spending many years convinced college was not in my future, I decided I was not willing to settle for that. Finances were my biggest obstacle in obtaining a college education. It was not an easy obstacle to overcome, but eventually, with the help of others, my college career was funded. After receiving my financial aid, I worked full-time and attended community college full-time where I received an associate degree. That degree helped prepare me for my course work in finance economics at SNHU. With little initial support in my collegiate endeavors, sleep was scarce and studying became a priority. All the while, it seemed so difficult; now looking back I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Pursuing a college education has already opened up doors for me that I never would have found without it.
