"What SNHU has given me is the freedom to pursue a real college education on my own time."
I've lived in the greater Chicago area my entire life, and in 2004 I graduated high school and received an athletic scholarship to wrestle for a college in Missouri, which is thousands of miles away. I completed only one semester there before injuring my knee, and requiring surgery. I opted to come home for the surgery and take a semester off to concentrate on rehab. What I found from this decision is that it’s very difficult to start college again once you leave. That difficulty was only compounded as I started to work full-time while going through extensive rehab. I floundered for years at my local community college. My schedule and circumstances never allowed me to take a full schedule of classes. I almost gave up the pursuit of a college education.
Then I stumbled, literally, across the SNHU Web site. What SNHU has given me is the freedom to pursue a real college education on my own time without compromising my work schedule. Enrolling at SNHU has been one of the smartest decisions I've ever made.
