"Education, above all, was the most important thing."
As a professional soccer player, father and now an SNHU graduate, Ante Cop has kept busy since his days on campus. While playing for the men’s soccer team, he was drafted to play professional soccer. This opportunity kept him from completing his degree. Years later, Ante decided to complete his BS in Marketing with SNHU through the online program. Ante wanted to complete his degree for his wife and son.
“Success means to me waking up with a smile on your face knowing that you are able to provide for your family,” Ante said.
Ante was awarded his diploma in front of his family including his father at his son’s 4th birthday party as part of the See Yourself Succeed journey. Fifteen years after beginning his program, Ante was able to show his son, A.J., the value of education.
“I’ve told him, ‘I don’t want you to be a quitter on the field, and I don’t want you to be a quitter off the field.’ I wanted him to know that education, above all, was the most important thing.
