"My advisor and instructors have all been very supportive."

I have been working in the defense and aerospace industry for the past 15 years and have been considering going back to school for my MBA for several years now. In the fall of 2013, I finally decided to stop talking about it and take action. I filled out the paperwork with my company to take advantage of the tuition reimbursement that they offer, they approved my request, and I was committed. With everything set, I started classes in January 2014 with the intent of finishing in the fall of 2016.

After being out of college for 20 years, I did not know quite what to expect from both getting back into the college mindset, as well as what to expect from online classes. I have to say that everything so far has been great. My advisor and instructors have all been very supportive. It has been great learning more about subjects that I just touched on in my undergraduate work, as well as learning from the life experiences of my classmates. The weekly assignments do take up quite a bit of my previously free time, but my wife has been very supportive, and we both think this is a good investment in our future.
