"I can honestly say I am achieving a level of academic success that I have never reached before."
I was a teenage mom, who made some poor choices and could pretty much say I flunked out of community college. At the age of 21, I began working full-time with the county sheriff's department, and after having to relocate, I realized that the county job I had for the last five years was not going to help me find a career. I decided to return to school and pursue my bachelor’s degree in sociology. I was never the best student but was determined to finish what I had started seven years ago. I can honestly say I am achieving a level of academic success that I have never reached before. Having done so well in my first four terms, I recently started taking on a third course in hopes of graduating early. After receiving my bachelor’s in sociology from SNHU, I hope to go on to the University of Louisville and pursue my master’s degree in social work.
