"The school has … offered me a wonderful opportunity. You really get a sense of family and a nurturing environment when you’re here."
When Christine Bell enrolled in Southern New Hampshire University’s MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, it was a return to school after years working in human resources and raising her children. She said she found after earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology, she needed an advanced degree to get a job in her chosen field. Now that her kids are older and more independent, she’s taking the opportunity to earn her master’s and eventually work in a clinical setting with adolescents. The transition from working mom to student-mom has been seamless, she said.
“The school has just really offered me a wonderful opportunity,” Bell said. “You really get a sense of family and a nurturing environment when you’re here.”
