"I consider myself a lifelong learner who will continue to learn either formally or by what life hands me."
I grew up poor and have always felt that education was my only way out of poverty. I consider myself a lifelong learner who will continue to learn either formally or by what life hands me. My greatest accomplishment is raising three absolutely perfect children to be kind, considerate, intelligent adults that care about all living things. They have become all these things and more!
I have been married for 27 years to my husband, who retired from the Army. I loved being an Army wife and having the opportunity to travel and meet so many interesting people while developing lifelong friendships. It wasn't always easy, but I learned early on to make the best of my situation. I consider myself a positive, friendly, caring, fun-loving person that changes the lives of the people I meet even if just a little. I now have a perfect grandson that I get to teach about the world, and I look forward to the opportunity!
