"It wouldn't be possible without the flexibility and success-driven plan SNHU creates for me, the student."
I was a young, single mom and a high school dropout. I made great money tending bar on South Beach and thought, "I make more than the average professional. I don't need an education." Then at 27, I started thinking about me and my child's future. "He deserves a professional and educated mother," I thought. So, while working full-time, I decided it was time to get my GED and get a degree.
I met my husband, a business owner, who had a serious tax lien due to his CPA not paying his FUTA taxes for a whole year. I started reading accounting books and developed a passion for it. I received my associate degree from our local community college and thought I'd take a break from school, when I saw an SNHU commercial and decided to inquire. I was enrolled and going three weeks later. I'm an entrepreneur, wife, homemaker, mother, chef, student and bookkeeper/tax preparer. It wouldn't be possible without the flexibility and success-driven plan SNHU creates for me, the student. Thanks for all the tools given to succeed.
