"SNHU encouraged me every step of the way."

I dropped out of college when I was 21 and started working. I traveled, and eventually moved. I thought there was no way I would ever be able to afford to go back to school, and if I could, no school would ever take me because I lost my focus and had bad grades in my last semester of college. It had been so long that I was sure they'd never transfer over.

SNHU encouraged me every step of the way. They offered a program specific to what I wanted to do with my life, and offered it online, so that I could go back to school and keep my full-time job which I love. (It's at a bookstore, and even though it's great, since I'm a writing major, it's not my ideal "big girl" career.) They made it easy and fast to enroll, and transferred pretty much all of my old credits from my first college (despite having a different major), so I already started out halfway through my bachelor’s degree.

More than that, my SNHU admission rep and entry advisor made sure I had full comprehension of how to use the website, and signed me up for multiple terms, so that I didn't have to worry about, "What do I do next?" My advisors have been amazing. I'm quite independent, and I do most of what I need to do to keep going online - it's really easy with the SNHU self-service options on the website - but they are absolutely amazing when I do need to take advantage of them. Luc, my entry advisor, and Mark, my permanent advisor, are always great at making suggestions for classes, or for what I need to do for my 'next step.' And they are very understanding when it comes to getting a hold of me with my crazy schedule.

I love the classes they offer. There's no shortage of fun classes even outside of my major, and the teachers are usually amazing. I look forward to pushing myself, learning and continuing to complete my creative writing degree, so that one day I can look at the shelves at my current job and see my name in the "bestsellers" section. And I never would have gone back if it hadn't been for SNHU's amazing program, easy signup and online options.
