"All of the professors at SNHU have been incredibly supportive and understanding."
I am currently a history major, and I hope to end up teaching high school American history. My husband and I have an amazing four-year-old son who keeps us entertained. I grew up very near Washington, D.C. My mother inspired a love of museums and historical places by taking me, my brother and sister to the Smithsonian museums, and places like Monticello and Mount Vernon. After I graduated high school here in Georgia, I attended college on campus at a state university. But as my son got older, it was harder and harder for me to commute.
I saw a commercial for SNHU and decided to give it a try, and I've loved it ever since. The short terms make me feel like I am getting more done in a shorter amount of time, and that I am very close to getting my degree. All of the professors at SNHU have been incredibly supportive and understanding of the fact that I have other things outside of school to worry about, which offers a great deal of peace of mind. I love being a student online with SNHU, and I look forward to receiving my degree!
