Leslie Alimi

"Thank you, SNHU for all the hard work and effort you put into your students."

My name is Leslie Alimi. I am 30 years old and a mother of two. It had been more than ten years since I have been to school, and frankly, I had written education off. My life now had other priorities, with all the kids activities going on I really had no time to think about furthering my education. Suddenly, one day, I just thought about going back to school and showing my family, especially my kids, that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

So I started searching, and started sending my information to different online schools. After talking to many schools, I had given up hope because the schools I had been speaking to were not supportive, and honestly, I felt like they just wanted to sell education to me. When SNHU called they made me feel so comfortable and were so willing to help me every step of the way. The enrollment was painless, and Demita Furner, my first academic advisor, was so sweet, and I felt like she was so genuine and really cared about my future.

Then I had a life-changing situation, and I let go of my studies. Luckily, SNHU never lost faith in me. I had a new academic advisor Christine Nesheim. Christine has been so good to me, making sure I got back on track and keeping me up to speed with everything. Presently, I been doing great and having so much fun attending school again. Thank you, SNHU for all the hard work and effort you put into your students.
