"I am happiest when I am helping others, and I hope to continue that passion as I work towards my master’s degree in psychology at SNHU."
I graduated from a local university with my bachelor's degree in clinical psychology. My passion in life has always been to help and inspire people to be the best they can be, and psychology seemed to fit that idea.
One of my greatest achievements is being a part of the nonprofit organization my friends and I started in honor of our friend who passed away from sudden cardiac arrest. Our nonprofit, “Who We Play For,” strives to educate people on the dangers of sudden cardiac arrest—the number one killer of student-athletes.
We are currently working towards passing the “Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act” in Florida, as well as offering free heart screenings to students. “Who We Play For” has really given me the motivation to follow my dreams, and to figure out what inspires me.
I am happiest when I am helping others, and I hope to continue that passion as I work towards my master’s degree in psychology at SNHU, and then eventually my PhD in clinical psychology.
