"Now with the encouragement of my academic advisor, I am looking forward to enrolling for my BS next year."
After a decade of an unbalanced work/life situation, I gave up my career and moved back to the country. Eight years later, I was still unable to effectively communicate my skills to employers without a degree to back it up. Fear of failure, time constraints and finances kept me from enrolling in a degree program. After having several conversations with an admissions counselor, I gained enough courage to enroll for an Associate of Science degree. Now with the encouragement of my academic advisor, I am looking forward to enrolling for my BS next year. These two women not only gave me the confidence to commit to the program, but also the tools I needed to be successful. My future is brighter because of their patience and understanding. It was a difficult decision to return to school after being in the workforce for so many years. I am truly thankful for their support.
