"I finally made the decision to pursue my master's degree and I couldn't be happier."

After several years of being indecisive about furthering my education, I finally made the decision to pursue my master's degree, and I couldn't be happier.

My story is probably no different than many others. While pursuing my bachelor's degree, I worked and took care of my family. I have always been driven by a challenge. After graduation, I entered the workforce full-time and began a career in medical education, supporting pharmaceutical companies with marketing and educational initiatives.

I was fortunate enough to begin my career as an associate program manager and end my tenure as the director of operations. I loved the company I worked for, and would still be there now, had it not been hit by the recession and forced to close.

I was able to rebound pretty quickly and land another position, which allows me to manage a virtual team of members who work from home. While I truly enjoy my current career, professionally, I am ready for the next challenge. I have always been considered the 'on the job therapist,' so it was only natural that I would pursue a master's degree in psychology.

I will continue to pursue my master's degree with SNHU, as this has been such a rewarding experience thus far. Whatever your journey is in life, enjoy the ride and embrace life's challenges!
