"Though working 60+ hours a week and a full course load was very difficult at first, I could always rely on my advisor."
About six months ago, I received a job offer for my dream job, which involved moving to another state to pursue my dreams. I knew the only way to achieve this was to transfer to an online program after completing two years of the undergraduate program at a local university. After finding SNHU and applying, I was able to continue with my bachelor’s program in psychology.
Though working 60+ hours a week and a full course load was very difficult at first, I could always rely on my advisor, Chantel Ovitt. With the assistance and encouragement of Chantel, I was able to figure out a realistic schedule to manage my time, as well as working in the field I have dreamed of. I currently work now as a recovery coach and an alumni coordinator for an adolescent residential treatment center, and hope to finish my master’s in social work through SNHU’s online program. I hope to one day own a private practice to counsel those with substance abuse/alcohol abuse, as well as marriage/family problems. With the help of SNHU’s online program, an awesome advisor and supportive professors, I am well on my way!
