Gerontologists focus on the physical aspects of aging, coupled with its mental, social and societal implications. Traditional opportunities in healthcare and human services continue to expand, and the distinctive needs and interests of this growing societal segment are opening doors.

After going through IVF treatments and pregnancy while in school, Shunte Harrison earned her AS in Criminal Justice from Southern New Hampshire University. She also encouraged her husband, Korey, to earn his BS in Business Administration, and the couple graduated together.

Dr. Meleena Eaton is the executive director of Academic Effectiveness at Southern New Hampshire University. She has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and undergraduate marketing education and holds a doctorate of business administration in marketing.
