According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, personal finance advisors and financial analysis positions in the banking industry are expected to grow by 22 percent and 11 percent, respectively, through 2016. Financial managers in the management field are expected to expand by 78 percent. Positions in finance are available in nearly all major businesses and will to grow as other industries do.

Required Course Work
NOTE: A maximum of one course may be exempted by students meeting the appropriate education criteria.  As required of all M.S. degree programs offered in the School of Business, a minimum of 12 courses (36 credits) are required to complete the M.S. in finance degree. Students are required to fulfill the 36-credit minimum by taking finance electives as needed.
