Our health service staff members include a full time Registered Nurse and a full time Licensed Practical Nurse. Health Services offers treatment of common acute problems (e.g., colds, flu, and burns), personal health counseling and education, information on birth control, referral for sexually transmitted infections testing and allergy injections. Health Services is a licensed facility and must follow by New Hampshire Educational Health Center Regulations. At the discretion of the nurse, students will be referred out to the University Medical Director, off site for further evaluation and treatment. Wellness Center staff is available to assist students with processing insurance claims covered by the University sponsored health insurance coverage.
To receive health services at the SNHU Wellness Center, you must be a full-time SNHU student with a complete Medical Record form (PDF 36 kb) on file. All student health records are confidential).
Health Services for International Students
In addition to the Medical Record form, international students, cannot complete registration without; a chest x-ray report, and evidence of immunization against measles, mumps and rubella. Failure to produce this information will result in additional expenses and medical treatment upon your arrival for school registration.
Charges for health services in the community are usually sent directly to students. One Stop handles all questions pertaining to billing and enrollment in the SNHU insurance plans.
