Professional Learning for Graduate Credit

At Southern New Hampshire University, you can use embedded, experiential professional development opportunities to design coursework that fits your organization’s needs

What We Offer

In addition to our graduate certificates, master’s degrees and doctoral programs, the Professional Development Outreach Center (PDOC) offers on-demand learning opportunities matched to the needs of working professionals. Our activities are flexible and creative, meeting the unique requirements of organizations, professional groups and existing learning cultures.

PDOC specializes in partnering with all types of organizations to create coursework designed to advance innovation in professional practice. Originally built for education partners, our courses have grown to nearly every industry, including community mental health, business, arts and sciences.

Through PDOC, students can earn graduate credit and gain additional knowledge and experiences in their chosen field. Participating in a PDOC course may also help them meet state recertification requirements.

Credits, Policies and Accreditation

Courses may offer between 1-6 credits based on the length of the class and academic rigor. Due to the nature of designing unique learning experiences, specific policies and procedures are outlined at the time an organization chooses to use PDOC as the crediting agency.

At Southern New Hampshire University, we know how important quality education is for working professionals. The courses offered through PDOC are fully accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). For more information, view our accreditation page.
