Affordable tuition for Amazon Career Choice employees
Amazon Career Choice is designed to support your education and career advancement through in-demand associate and bachelor’s degree programs like cybersecurity, data analytics, healthcare administration, IT and more. If you’re not ready to commit to a full degree, Amazon Career choice also supports undergraduate certificates in cybersecurity and computer programming.
Tuition covered
Amazon Career Choice covers the cost of up to 6 courses per year for eligible Amazon employees. If you choose to take more than 6, you may be eligible for a tuition discount on additional courses.*
Payment is simple — just visit the Amazon Career Choice website and submit a payment request for your SNHU program of choice. SNHU will confirm the course-level details and either approve or deny your request. If the request is approved, Amazon pays SNHU directly on your behalf.

SNHU will cover the cost of required books for all Career Choice eligible programs. Talk to your admission counselor for details.

Am I eligible to enroll?
If you've been a U.S. Amazon employee (full time or part time) for 90 days or more and have a high school diploma or GED, you may be eligible to enroll at SNHU through Amazon Career Choice. Talk to your SNHU admission counselor to learn more.
What is the application process like?
We’ll work with you side by side to complete your free application, find the right program for your goals and help you understand how Amazon Career Choice will cover your tuition. If you’ve done previous college coursework and want to transfer credits, we’ll obtain your transcripts and do a credit evaluation for you.
How much will it cost to earn my degree?
With Amazon Career Choice, you may be able to earn your entire degree at no cost to you. Amazon Career Choice covers the cost of 6 undergraduate courses per year for eligible full-time employees or up to $5,250. That’s 3 courses or up to $2,625 for eligible part-time employees. If you choose to take 6 courses per year, you’ll be completely covered by Amazon Career Choice. If you decide to take more than 6 courses per year, you’ll get an 18% discount off SNHU’s already low online tuition.
Bonus: Your first course is covered by SNHU and doesn’t count against your Amazon Career Choice tuition benefit funds. That means you may have additional Amazon Career Choice tuition benefit funds available to use your first year — a great opportunity to get ahead!
Will my current credits transfer?
SNHU will accept up to 90 previously earned college credits towards your bachelor's degree or up to 45 toward your associate degree, which can help you earn your degree up to 75% faster. Courses with a grade of C- or higher at an accredited institution are usually eligible to be transferred. If you have questions, complete a free application and work with our admission team to have your official transcripts evaluated.

If you’re already an SNHU student, you’re eligible for the 15% Amazon tuition discount and may be eligible for Amazon Career Choice. Talk to your admission counselor to learn more. Any discounts or vouchers you may be eligible for will be applied toward future courses, not to courses you’ve already completed.
I already have a bachelor’s degree. Am I eligible for a master’s degree?
Even if you’re ineligible for Amazon Career Choice, you can still take advantage of the 15% Amazon tuition discount for a master's degree — on top of SNHU’s already low online tuition rates. Talk to your admission counselor for details.
Am I eligible as a part-time employee?
Yes, as a part-time Amazon employee, Amazon Career Choice will cover your tuition costs for up to 3 courses per year. Plus, you’ll still be able to take advantage of these great benefits:
- SNHU will cover the cost of required books for all Career Choice eligible programs.
- 18% off SNHU’s low tuition for any courses you take in excess of your Amazon Career Choice’s yearly coverage of 6 courses.
- Family and military discounts (If you’re eligible for multiple discount offerings or promotions, SNHU will apply only the single highest-value tuition discount.)
