SNHU Launches Innovative 3-Year Business Degree as Part of New Campus-Based Program Expansion
Manchester, N.H. - Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is unveiling a slate of new campus-based academic programs designed to accelerate student success and meet workforce demand in some of today’s fastest-growing industries. Leading the expansion is the 3-Year Applied Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, an accelerated program that allows learners to earn a high-quality bachelor’s degree in less time while gaining the hands-on experience employers increasingly expect.
This newly approved 93-credit program combines project-based learning, leadership development, and industry-aligned coursework to help motivated learners enter the workforce sooner and with stronger career readiness. Students can pair the accelerated bachelor's with SNHU’s 30-credit MBA and earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in just four years, saving significant time and cost while fast-tracking their professional growth.
“This new 3-year business degree represents an exciting evolution in how we deliver business education on campus,” said Dr. Diego Nocetti, dean of the SNHU School of Business. “We know some learners are eager for a faster path to a bachelor’s degree, and this program gives them that option without sacrificing quality. Through hands-on, career-connected learning, students graduate sooner and are better prepared to make an immediate impact in the workplace.”
Also launching this year is SNHU’s Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, a program built for campus students pursuing careers in healthcare, research, and biotechnology. The curriculum blends biology, chemistry, and health sciences with extensive laboratory and experiential learning. To support this growth, SNHU opened a new, state-of-the-art biology lab in the fall—providing expanded capacity for hands-on experimentation, biofabrication coursework, and future research initiatives across the health sciences.

“Our new biomedical science program is designed to prepare students for emerging careers at the intersection of science, technology, and human health,” said Dr. Benjamin Cole, dean of the SNHU School of Arts, Sciences, and Education. “By aligning our curriculum and facilities with the work happening through ARMI and ReGen Valley, we’re creating meaningful, hands-on pathways that connect classroom learning directly to high-impact research and workforce opportunities.”
Beyond these flagship additions, SNHU is broadening its academic offerings with new programs aligned to rapidly evolving fields, including:
- BA in Law, Politics, and Societies
- BS in Cybersecurity
- BS in Finance
- MS in Computer Science
- BS in Game Art & Interactive Design
With these new degree programs, SNHU continues to redefine flexible, career-focused higher education by offering learners accelerated pathways, applied learning experiences, and the skills needed to thrive in today’s job market.

NECHE Disclosure: 3-year, Applied Bachelor of Science in Business Administration:
The Applied Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is a 93-credit, three-year (six-semester) program designed to provide students with an accelerated bachelor’s degree. This reduced-time and reduced-credit program has been approved by SNHU’s institutional accreditor, the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). However, the standard baccalaureate degree remains a four-year (eight-semester), 120-credit program. Students who choose this pathway can complete both their bachelor’s degree and MBA in just four years*.
This program meets admission requirements for SNHU master’s degrees, but students should be aware that other institutions may have different admission criteria. Prospective graduate students are encouraged to verify specific requirements with their intended institutions.
The Applied Bachelor of Science in Business Administration includes learning experiences with translatable skills to help build a solid resume and prepare graduates for the workforce. However, as this is a novel program structure, students should be aware that some employers may have varying perspectives on a three-year degree.
*Dependent on students maintaining full time enrollment in both the Applied Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the MBA.
